2010-Feb-2 - Financial Stocks: Credit-card trio leads financials a bit higher

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. financial stocks rose for a second straight session Tuesday, led higher by a trio of credit-card firms after analysts said recent pullbacks created a buying opportunity.

Shares of Discover Financial , Capital One Financial and American Express were all near the top of the list of financial winners Tuesday fast cash now.

The analysts, at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, said each of the stocks looks to have an upside of 15% to 25%.

The Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF which tracks all the S&P 500's financial stocks, rose 0.1%
